OUR HORSES AND FOALS
All our wonderful horses serve us with gentleness, patience and forgiveness.
Both the tangible and intangible gifts our horses give to us, and our guests, are innumerable and priceless. Each member of our family is a treasure in a way that is unique to them; each, absolutely, has their own tale to tell. Our horses’ willingness and unlimited hearts have captured the hearts of all of us who know them. We believe that if you were to meet our horses and learn their stories, they would capture your heart as well.

BINGO
A magnificent bay colored spotted draft gelding standing at 16.2 hands. He is Amish bred and extensively trained in carriage driving. He has just turned four and his lovable disposition and need for "cuddles" has made him an instant favorite in the barn. Bingo is our carriage horse and was destined to be Louis' personal mount. That is until Samantha appropriated him for herself after she and Bingo bonded!

MYSTERY MAN
A 16.3 hand Kentucky Mountain Horse, Mystery Man has all the unique and distinguishing characteristics of the breed that traces back to the Spanish Conquistadors. He has a natural four gait rack that can be maintained over rough terrain, a calm and kind demeanor and insatiable curiosity. Trained by Anne McDonald, 6-year old Mystery Man loves water (being and playing in it), and is very nosy!

LA VIDA (Lavita Go Brightly)
An 8-year old white Appaloosa mare, she came to us from another trail-riding stable. Used to being in a "herd" of 70 and more trail horses and riding in nose-to-tail strings of 25 and more, La Vida is, because of our "less is more" policy, now receiving the individual attention that she deserves. Bred to a very imposing Appaloosa stallion, La Vida has rewarded us with the most beautiful filly - Zeebells.

ROOKIE (Fairviews Royal Don Rookie)
A 19 year old black gelding, he exemplifies the Morgan disposition and strength. A winner in the show ring in English/Western, pleasure classes, driving (including Chautauqua Sleigh Rally Currier and Ives) dressage; Rookie loves trail rides and also has pulled out logs, been in parades and has given carriage rides at events.

KOKIE (Flickering Coquette)
A 17-year old chestnut Morgan mare who does it all! Whether for show or pleasure, Kokie excels in driving, English/Western riding, Training Level Division winner for dressage; even moved 1500 head of cattle in Wyoming (2005). She has produced 3 outstanding foals.

KIZZIE (WWW Klassical Jazz )
A 22 year old black mare displays the long neck, fine bone and outstanding disposition of the Morgan lineage. Although Kizzie was never bred, she is the grandmother of the herd, but loves to be with her people as much! Kizzie placed third in her first Competitive Driving Competition as well as other distinguishing accomplishments before her activities were focused on trail riding.

MAGGIE - Louis' "very special girl" is a 9 year old Belgian mare. Prior to her rescue, Maggie had a sad life - until he found her, and she him! Used as a "logger" she was never trained for carriage driving or horseback riding. For those who saw her when she arrived here, emaciated, terrified, rearing and literally out of control, the transition to Louis' 17.2 hand, 2000 pound, laid-back mother of Bellsam (a surprise), will be an eye-opener! Proof that love and kindness can overcome the "biggest" obstacles!!

BELLSAM was born at the stables on May 9, 2008, out of "Maggie" and . . . ? Well, it doesn't matter! Bellsam is everything we could have hoped for in a Belgian colt. In fact, he is everything we would have wished for in a Golden Retriever puppy. Lovable, mischievous and with an amazing sense of humor. Unfortunately he is unaware of his size and this presents some "biggish?" problems. Those who know and breed Belgians, and who have seen him, claim that he will be all of 18 hands tall and will make his mother look small!

ZEEBELLS - Which loosely interpreted could also mean "firecracker!" She has, literally from the day she was born, been highly assertive, cheeky, and defiant! Delicate in appearance, she has the agility of a ballerina and enthralls all with her leaps, bounds, dashes and pirouettes. In line with her Appaloosa lineage, Zeebells has unique red markings and not least of all are her white tipped ears!
MAGGIE & BELLSAM
Proud mother and her colt at 5 days old. Maggie has turned out to be the most caring and attentive mother. Her nurturing and the time she takes in tutoring her foal, never ceases to impress.

LAVIDA & ZEEBELLS
Pert and precocius at 10 days old. As a first-foal mother, La Vida initially found Zeebells' demands a little disconcerting but as time has passed, she has learnt to adapt to her feisty filly.
