The Great Tree Inn is a converted and recently upgraded 1820 farmhouse and barn guarded by an ancient black locust tree. Open year-round, refresh your spirits in the shade of the flowered pergolas or relax in the warmth of the fireplaces in the bedrooms or living areas.
Whether it be a private, quiet and romantic escape or a "getaway" with access to all of the excitement of horse and carriage riding, the Inn's focus is on hospitality and personal, 101 service. The Inn is an eclectic mix of European and American custom and culture and the mission of the Innkeepers is to offer their guests a unique lodging experience.
After your horseriding experience, "imagine" relaxing in a overstuffed leather armchair in front of the fireplace! Supplementing the "living room", the "wardroom" further extended the amenities available to the guests. And the "club" atmosphere is proving to be a refuge for those wanting to get into a book or just seeking tranquility or privacy.
Each of the Inn's seven guest rooms is individually decorated, all with all-season fireplaces and all with private baths or showers and feature Persian carpets, cozy duvets, assorted pillows, and special touches for guest comfort. Individual airconditioning and flat-panel TV's in every room, further enhance the guest's comfort. A hearty breakfast is served each morning in the breakfast room. And on the weekends, the Inn's 'Le Indaba' dining room offers guests unique signature dishes in an intimate and romantic candelight atmosphere.
